If you happen to know anyone from JBoss or vert.x as well, that'd be great, but even reaching out just to Fedora mentors/students will be a big help. If you don't have time, a list of names/emails will do. I'm thinking to ask the mentors: 1) Why did you become a mentor? 2) What did you get out of the experience? 3) Who would you recommend it for (which projects/people)? For participants: 1) Why did you want to participate? 2) Why did you choose project xyz? 3) How was the experience? 4) What is next for you? Yes, I think an article covering Fedora's involvement with Google Summer of Code would be an *excellent* topic to cover. There are plenty of mentors and students from this cycle who I'm sure would be happy to provide some feedback. Thumbs-up from me for having a Magazine and CommBlog edition. If you need any help or pointers, feel free to ask and I can drop some emails and links for mentors, students, and projects from this summer.
