Hi, Qwt is a library of Qt widgets, packaged in Fedora. The website is: http://qwt.sourceforge.net/ The license of that library is the "Qwt license, version 1.0". You can find its text here: http://qwt.sourceforge.net/qwtlicense.html That license is mostly "LGPLv2 with exception". However, there is an additional paragraph that in my opinion is an advertising clause: "However, programs must still identify their use of Qwt. The following example statement can be included in user documentation to satisfy this requirement: [program/widget] is based in part on the work of the Qwt project (http://qwt.sf.net)." I seems to be incompatible with GPL. See the FSF FAQ about the original BSD: http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-faq.html#OrigBSD Is my understanding correct? If so, how can we deal with that?
