Quoting Peter Surda <shurdeek@xxxxxxxxxxxx>: > Unless there is a technical reason for it to behave like this (which I don't > think because I use other distributions as well and these don't suffer from > this problem), I think it is safe to say that this is a bug, and it makes > sense to fix it (please note I didn't say "it is necessary to fix it", just > that it makes sense). IIRC, a bug has been filed to fix this problem. > So could we perhaps stick to the technical part, try to find a fix and leave > the patch management policies to someone else? I think we need to address both. Fixing mysql won't make the other problems go away, as they are sure to happen again at some point with some other application. And I think that FL is making progress on fixing both problems (patch managment and mysql failure). Others may disagree. > Bye, > > Peter Surda (Shurdeek) <shurdeek@xxxxxxxxxxxx>, ICQ 10236103, +436505122023 -- Eric Rostetter -- fedora-legacy-list@xxxxxxxxxx http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-legacy-list
