I have an i386 computer here at home with redhat 7.3 on it. The machine has a big history so rpm from everywhere are installed on there (ximian, freshrpm, ATRpms, ...) The rpm version is 4.3.3 from ATRpms (rpm-4.3.3-8_40.rh7.3.at). The cups-libs package was upgraded to the latest version available from Fedora Legacy (cups-libs-1.1.14-15.4.4.legacy). I can't install the legacy package of cups itself though. First I had problems with smart and yum but then I downloaded the cups rpm and tried to install it by hand and that still failed: % rpm --install cups-1.1.14-15.4.4.legacy.i386.rpm error: Failed dependencies: cups-libs = 1.1.14 is needed by cups-1.1.14-15.4.4.legacy.i386 Is this a problem with the cups packages or with the version of rpm I am using or is it something else still ? greets, Staf. -- fedora-legacy-list@xxxxxxxxxx http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-legacy-list
