There was a recent security update: http://fedoralegacy.org/updates/FC1/2005-02-23-FLSA_2005_2043__Updated_zlib_package_fixes_security_issues.html
But, any reason zlib 1.2.2 would break any FC1 or FC2 package? http://www.gzip.org/zlib/

Simply because the new ClamAV requires version 1.2.1 and legacy only provides us 1.2.0.
I built zlib-1.2.1.2-1.src.rpm from the FC3 repository and it's working well on FC1. So 1.2.2 would be merrier - I don't see any lib compatibility problems in the changelog.
