Lots of people are actively supporting RH 9 developement/testing. Very few are supporting RH 8 development/testing. Therefore RH 9 stays, and RH 8 gets dropped. Simple.
Then the erroneous claim on http://www.fedoralegacy.org/about/faq.php that RH 8 is supported should be dropped.
Not until it is officially dropped. There has been no official statement about it yet. Same for 7.2.
Also all references to RH 8 on http://www.fedoralegacy.org/docs/ and http://www.fedoralegacy.org/updates/ should be removed, so that nobody mistakenly believes that fedoralegacy supports RH 8 anymore.
No need to throw out all the updates that exist, just because more are not forthcoming, is there? But maybe just putting a disclaimer on them would be sufficient?
