The real reason RH9 is supported is that there is no RH10 and never will be.

FC1 is a different attitude on the part of Red Hat,

The fact that RH8 was dropped had nothing to do with technology. It was
simply that no one was volunteering their time to QA the package
proposals FL had in bugzilla.

It was quite simply lack of community interest.
