Thanks,

It's strange though I copied and pasted from the page

http://www.fedoralegacy.org/docs/yum-rh8.php

which reads:

# rpm -Uvh
http://download.fedoralegacy.org/redhat/8.0/legacy-utils/i386/rpm-4.1.1-
1.8x.i386.rpm \
http://download.fedoralegacy.org/redhat/8.0/legacy-utils/i386/rpm-build-
4.1.1-1.8x.i386.rpm \
http://download.fedoralegacy.org/redhat/8.0/legacy-utils/i386/rpm-devel-
4.1.1-1.8x.i386.rpm \
http://download.fedoralegacy.org/redhat/8.0/legacy-utils/i386/rpm-python
-4.1.1-1.8x.i386.rpm \
http://download.fedoralegacy.org/redhat/8.0/legacy-utils/i386/popt-1.7.1
-1.8x.i386.rpm \
http://download.fedoralegacy.org/redhat/8.0/updates/i386/python-1.5.2-43
.72.i386.rpm \
http://download.fedoralegacy.org/redhat/8.0/updates/i386/gnupg-1.0.7-14.
i386.rpm

It seems like 8.0 is still supported to some extend, it is kind of scary
for me to upgrade to 9.0 the production server, for downtime would mess
a lot of things up.

Thanks again,

Okan

Looks like a cut-and-paste error. Try
http://download.fedoralegacy.org/redhat/8.0/os/i386/python-2.2.1-17.i386
.rpm
HTH,
John
P.S. 8.0 is not supported due to lack of community participation. You
should
consider upgrading to 9 if possible.
