If you can look through the emails, I wrote about putting (non-fedora) yum on redhat 8.0. It works with the fedora site just fine.

Yes, and I replied to that at the time that we really should have a FL apt/yum also. If we're going to support it, then lets support it. If not, then lets drop the support. I think it would be foolish to offer different levels of support for different versions of RHL.
