I never used it but seems like a good idea. Especially if we are
slowed in releases of a fixed. It might add some extra protection

No, libsafe is unsuitable and unnecessary for FC because of exec-shield. I personally use it within FC1 chroots that are unprotected by exec-shield though. Have not run FC1 long enough with libsafe to determine if it is stable or not. Works for me in RH7.x, 8 and 9 though.
