Hi,

I just installed rpm-4.1.1-1.8x from the Fedora Legacy stable repository and now rpm2html crashes (used to work fine before the upgrade) :-( Is this a known issue? The only thing I've found is http://bugzilla.fedora.us/show_bug.cgi?id=38, which is CLOSED WONTFIX :-(

Obviously, breaking rpm2html conflicts with the "add-ons believed to be stable and wont interfere with other software" intent of the "stable" channel, so hopefully there is a way of fixing this.

After reading that Bugzilla report, I am afraid to say that you are just unsupported. Nobody bothered to forward port rpm2html to use the newer RPM API's. Furthermore rpm2html is not part of the base distribution.

Given that many popular sites still use rpm2html, please ask around to see if anybody did that work.

I have a hunch... does rpm2html use the rpm-4.0.4 API? Have you tried installing librpm404?
