Hi, I recently purchased a Dell XPS 13 (9350, broadcom chip). After installing Fedora 23 (wiped out Windows), it mostly works, except for the touchscreen. Among its problems, it stops working after suspend & resume. After some searching in forums, etc. I issued "modprobe -r hid_multitouch && modprobe hid_multitouch". This enabled the touchscreen, but the computer had a surprise in store for me: both my touchpad and my touchscreen are controlled by hid_multitouch! I had to do "xinput list", then "xinput enable <id>" to get my touchpad working again after said command.

Also, looking at /var/log/Xorg.0.log, I see that the touchscreen is reinstalled using the "evdev" driver, not "hid_multitouch". Any ideas on how to fix this?

Hi there,

I've never heard of this issue before... seems like others on the list haven't either from the lack of response. Have you tried asking on the main users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx list? You may be able to find some more support from other users there as well.

Sorry I can't be of more help!
