So, do I understand you correct that Wifi works Ok when Windows is installed alongside Fedora? Maybe you can test to disable the Wifi via (FN +) F12 in Windows and then start the unit up in Fedora and verify the WLAN status? I have seen situations where WLAN (or other hardware) disabled in Windows will remain disabled in other OS’es too. I believe the reason is that the Toshiba tool running under Windows not merely disables the device in Device manager, but also makes a firmware / DMI change that is not possible (or at least easy) to access from other OS’es. In windows if you press two times this key activates the wifi, three times activates bluetooth and four times off everything, both bluetooth and wifi. I have read that a user disabled the bluetooth from the BIOS and then it worked, but I don't have the option to disable bluetooth in my BIOS.
