So create a new file or attach this to your keyboard config (it doesn't matter): Section "Device" Identifier "Device0" Driver "nvidia" VendorName "NVIDIA Corporation" Option "RegistryDwords" "EnableBrightnessControl=1" EndSection This should fix your problems. Reboot and enjoy.
