Yes thats the package. I was referring to this
http://l7-filter.sourceforge.net/HOWTO-kernel#Kernel
and did a grep NETFILTER_XT_MATCH in the config and did not find anything of interest. But thanks for an answer.

I'm not entirely sure what you're referring to.  If it's this:

http://l7-filter.clearfoundation.com/

Then you'll have to get whatever you need from there.  There's no
upstream kernel module for layer7 filtering that I'm aware of, so you
won't find it in Fedora's kernel.
