all current kernels have kvm (it got mergen upstream in 2.6.20) and
fc5/6 uses 2.6.20.x while rawhide/f7 uses 2.6.21

Can you please show me how can I check this in the web (what kernel version
fc5/6 uses) ?

here:
http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/updates/5/SRPMS/
you will find a kernel srpm which is the lastest update for fc5
same for fc6:
http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/updates/6/SRPMS/
