Yeah I'm afraid then you might be forced to use the X11 launcher until KDE deprecates the X11 launcher (I believe that's at least years away). Then you might need to change your GPU for something else.

If it worked for you I s'pose it might be down to graphics hardware.
I've got an nVidia GeForce710 card. :-(
It's not using the proprietary nVidia driver, I did have that loaded
but Fedora always refused to load it on boot claiming it was... hmm,
don't remember now.  My last update removed the 470xx driver.  But,
that has the same result, I'm using the nouveau driver, that's where
I'm getting the crash, I think.

Surely that shouldn't be the problem?  Errr...

I'm generally happy with Wayland.  Damn, even XScreensaver works for me
(pretty much).  I'm not sure I've had an Android emulator running under
it, though.
