I went ahead and tried this on Wayland, I simply downloaded android studio from https://developer.android.com/studio and it worked perfectly.
Is there anything specific you'Re doing that is causing the crash?

My Android emulators (under Android Studio if it makes a difference,
but I think not since I'm getting the same problem running from the
CLI) crash.
The log suggests that the Wayland plugin isn't present, but I do have
qt5 and qt6 Wayland libraries loaded.
I've trawled around the net looking for answers but haven't found
anything that works.
Any fixes gratefully received
