None of those things were forgotten. We have krdp (RDP) and krfb (VNC)
for remote access to Plasma Wayland. Clipboard functionality is
supported through the portal and the wlroots protocol that lots of
toolkits and tools use. KRDP, in particular, is new with Plasma 6.

There's been a ton of work specifically around Plasma Wayland for 4
years now, and that work hasn't stopped. We're on the cusp of getting
multiple features that are only possible in Wayland with Plasma 6, as
well.
