If in Settings->Startup->Desktop session I check "Restore Manually Saved Session" an entry "Save Session" appear in the "Power/Session" menu, and it seems to work.


The question was "where one goes to save a session".  I probably shouldn't assume F34.

In, for example, F32 and F33 you have "Restore Manually Saved Session" and you logout you are first given the option to
Save Session.

In F34, that option has been disabled.
