If I could re-ignite this conversation. I think Discover is at fault in some situations. It *always* asks for a reboot after an update, even if it really isn't necessary. I have just updated a single package, on request, via Discover and it has, as always, said that a reboot is required. That (single) package was Google Chrome. I find it hard to believe that it really is a requirement to reboot in this situation. Am I mistaken?
