I'd encourage you to try to get a backgrace out of the deadlocked
plasmashell as mentioned elsewhere in this thread.

With NFS out of the picture, your cause is very likely different.  (and I
can offer an educated guess based on experience: video driver deadlocks

OK. I'll try it next time it happens.
