I'm willing of course to do all the paperwork around, propose a change, write wiki page, contingency plan and so on and also attempt to help with fixing wayland issues. I'm curious about the status of Wayland + KDE/Plasma and the proprietary NVidia drivers. I know we shouldn't be beholden to a big closed-source blob, but at the same time we need a usable and productive system. I'm not against a small amount of discomfort as things stabilize, since more usage will obviously uncover uncharted behaviors, but we all have to be committed to working through that.
