It's already available, just not called Falkon yet. I don't see why that
even matters at all.

Yeah, I suppose it's a distinction without a difference - but I could
imagine how people who don't follow these things could get confused with
the name change.
In any event, doesn't hurt to wait a bit for them to get the changes
done and to target this for F28 and then to handle konqueror at the same
time.
I believe at this point it's not why this should happen, but rather why
not. Falkon is a full featured browser, showcases qtwebengine, has many
extensions, etc. It's just the logical thing to do.
