Sorry to get back to you so late, but I had the same problem. 
It turns out to be only the documentation file (at least in my 
case) and, if you follow the link to that file, you will see 
that all it is is the symlink kmail2 that points to the kmail 
directory containing the docs.

If you delete the symlink, named kmail2, I am pretty sure it 
was, then it all works fine.
