that's pretty sure not KDE but something in a Fedora packages restarts display manager - faced that stupidity months ago as i updated packages on a remote machine and the user called me with "why did you log me out at that exactly wrong moment"
i am not allowed to express what i think about people implementing such *harmful* behavior as default
