I have been testing with qt5.

The copr is available at
https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/jamatos/lyx-next/

Looking into the spec file you could see that there is a line

%global use_qt5 1

So for the moment the idea is to have qt5 as the default. I think this should 
apply to epel7 as well, but I do not use it.

So in the next couple of day I will port the 2.2.0 to updates-testing for 24 
(and before that naturally to rawhide) with the purpose of doing the same to 
23.

Regarding Fedora 22 and since it is reaching the end of live, I suppose that 
packaging 2.1.5 (that will be able to read 2.2 documents) is a conservative 
approach.
