It works, just as you I also have imap configured for 8 accounts and I had not any problem. Specifically the case that worried me the most was the upgrade process but in the end it went smoothly. :-) On my laptop where I decided to ditch the configuration files and the previous accounts to start a new process I have been getting problems.
