Sorry for the delay in replying. I can confirm that geotagging works in digikam-5.0.0-0.7.beta3.

Do you have a bugzilla or anywhere else for reporting other bugs in digikam? I noticed that panorama's no longer work because of a dependency on pto2mk. According to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=351433 this should be fixed in 5.0.0, but it's still broken in this rpm.

OK, looks like -0.6.beta3 build still missed a related build dependency,
I've queue'd a -0.7.beta3 build now that should hopefully fix it.
