It seems possible that this error message is generated when kwin crashes. 

I have a screenshot of the exact error message if anyone is interested.  Also abrt tool
shows kwin crashing about the right time and going to report it comes up with
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1290248 being the same/similar.
