the same here instead of "konsole" the only left was "gimp" interesting: i added gimp a few hours beforeadditionally: the context menu here to add favorites and so on is english instead of german

I am not sure if it is related with the update, and at the same time it is not annoying because if an application is favorite it should not be hard to remember. :-)
well, yes but.....
I have re-added the favorites and it now works. As I said before I am not sure if the cause for disappearance of the favorites was the upgrade. Other than this issue I am an happy camper. :-)
100% sure the upgrade i remembered your post before logout and apply teh upgrade in a VT
