I believe you're asking what is the criteria for choosing a default application for the Fedora KDE spin;
correct? If so, that is the crux of the problem. People I think are also getting confused between
being able to use a particular application and having something the "default".
I completely agree with Kevin's approach here. No need to get the cart before the horse.
