New installs of EL6 with kde-redhat stable are failing with a conflict between samba4-common and samba-common. It appears that kdenetwork-fileshare-samba requires "samba4" which pulls in samba4-common. Meanwhile cifs-utils -> samba-winbind -> samba-common.
