I still get power notifications, but the thing that stopped working for
me recently is my button handling. In Plasma 5, the only "Button" that's
handled is the lid (a problem in and of itself), and I have it set to
"Do Nothing" on lid close while on AC power. Instead, it is going to
sleep now.
