Just to follow up to this, I see now that in KMail=>Settings=>Configure KMail=>Accounts if I go to the "alfred" account and click on Modify, the Advanced tab has an entry "Enable server-side subscriptions". I've ticked this; and in the Serverside Subscriptions windows I see the folders in this account listed, all of which I have ticked. For good measure I have re-started Dovecot on the server, and closed and re-opened KMail on the laptop. But all this has had no effect. Incidentally, I have no idea what "server-side subscriptions" are. Is this a speciality of KMail, or do other mail programs share the concept? -- Timothy Murphy e-mail: gayleard /at/ eircom.net tel: +353-86-2336090, +353-1-2842366 s-mail: School of Mathematics, Trinity College, Dublin 2, Ireland _______________________________________________ kde mailing list kde@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/kde New to KDE4? - get help from http://userbase.kde.org
