Hi, FYI: Users of Fedora 18+ that have a Radeon HD video card which uses the r600g driver may have experienced kwin crashes [1] at log in. These were caused by a newly added feature "msaa visuals" in Mesa-9.1 [2]. Fredrik Höglund (kwin developer) created a patch [3] that solved this issue for kde. If mesa upstream will do something in this respect is unclear to me. I've tested the patch against kde-workspace-4.10.2-4.fc18.src.rpm and it worked fine. It would be nice if a next build of kde-workspace could incorporate the patch. I hope this request is not too obtrusive.
