This has only started happening this week.

That happened to be several times in the past. Each time, it was a sign that the mouse was going bad (the buttons in particular).

Of course trying another mouse would be the obvious step but this mouse is relatively new. I'll give it a try.


Sigh...

Of course this was the mouse which is only a couple of months old so I refused to believe it was faulty.
