Are your desktop settings "default" or? the systray is fine the whole time what makes me wonder becuase if i delete "plasma-desktop-appletsrc" i have to configure it also, so the config is not personalized what makes me wonder is that all my widgets as i placed them years ago where there at the begin, and after some logouts the drama started, later they came back as all the years before i gave up and deleted "plasma-desktop-appletsrc" and started from scratch all fine until i added "file watch", but that was random so a day later i placed my widgets again and did not use "file watch"
