As I really like open software and KDE using KDE on Windows for
production use is a nogo (to me).

To be honest: A running thunderbird on windows was only the last bit on
setting it up for linux as well. KMail 1.x runs fine but as fedora 16
comes with KMail2 with which I had many mail loose and other problems I
have to think of a different way to go.

As Kontact 1.x is limited in using CalDAV and CardDAV as source for
calendar and address data and I searched for a groupware client running
on multi platform I will use thunderbird until kmail2 reaches a level I
can use it.

I will keep testing KMail.
