Welcome to the project Pawel!
I saw the original announcement linked after I posted my response and it helpsfill in some blanks. I'm 100% the wrong person to talk aesthetics and design but I know that means a lot to people and I understand why it's a driving factor. The approach Ryan and Rick took around the last redesign was an architectural base that was sustainable and extensible. That should still be considered for whatever work you want to undertake and will shortcut your approach by months and allow you focus on the UI/UX design rather than the wiring. For context, the guys spent 40+ hours a week on this for several months. That's a non trivial amount of Engineering as you can appreciate. You can add a lot more time to that investment when volunteer context switching in and out occurs, our guys had the benefit of continuing on this project full time.
I'm absolutely no welded to the code base or the approach the guys took, I know from our debriefs the quality that it brought and I know tech changes with fashions and fads. This mail is more to raise awareness that you might have a very stable base to work with that was somehow overlooked and from there you could redecorate the house as you see fit.
Best wishes,
Leigh

Hi Leigh,
everything started from this post https://discussion.fedoraproject.org/t/its-time-to-update-the-main-fedora-website/30154 written by Matthew. I don't know the history of the project as I joined a couple of months ago however considering what you said maybe we should validate this with Matthew. What do you think?
