Once upon a time, we tried heading down a path of automating staging tests of the apps and we wrote 'rube': https://github.com/fedora-infra/rube/blob/develop/rube.fedora/README.rst#running The very few tests it has in test_bodhi2.py pass against the new staging deployment. :) It may be useful to expand its test suite. There is a Jenkins job running it (and failing on other apps) with some frequency: http://jenkins.fedorainfracloud.org/job/fedora-rube/
