Unfortunately, Subversion has two of the flaws that CVS has: 1) Merging is hard. 2) It's requires a centralized model of development that splits people into "committers" and everyone else. Non-committers have a much more difficult time contributing. Using a distributed SCM makes it much easier for people without write access to the main repository to contribute. Jeff
