Typing "ज्ञ" does not depends on font rather it depends on the input method you are using. Which IME you are using presently?
If you are using
INSCRIPT type = SHIFT+5
INSCRIPT type = SHIFT+5
ITRANSE type = GY
PHONETIC type = SHIFT+6
