Is there a reason the existing fonts group can not be used as-is there?
It's has already been de facto an infrastructure group for DE for years.

Or is the installer replacing the old mandatory/default/optional hierarchy
with group splits? Splitting is nice in theory, but in practice it adds to
people confusion and requires continuous maintenance to check the split
limit is right.

What is the benefit except from slapping an ugly basic prefix to the group
name and requiring documentation changes sig-side?
