But it raises an issue we've overlooked. Not all core modules have their own sub-packages. Many (like Getopt::Long in this bug) exist only in the core perl rpm. And with the core/vendor directories merged, a separate perl-Getopt-Long rpm will conflict with Getopt::Long from core perl.
