            Bug ID: 1738385
Summary: Request mod_perl package for EPEL 8
           Product: Fedora EPEL
           Version: epel7
            Status: NEW
         Component: mod_perl
          Assignee: ppisar@xxxxxxxxxx
          Reporter: yoshida.ryuichi@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
        QA Contact: extras-qa@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
                CC: jkaluza@xxxxxxxxxx, jorton@xxxxxxxxxx,
                    perl-devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, ppisar@xxxxxxxxxx
  Target Milestone: ---
    Classification: Fedora

Description of problem:

Request for mod_perl to be included in EPEL 8.

Our product depends on mod_perl.
We completed testing with RHEL 8.0 beta which included mod_perl.

However, mod_perl was removed from the official RHEL 8.0 release.
It is still not included in RHEL 8.1 beta.

Thus we have been postponing RHEL8 support.

mod_perl in EPEL 8 will be greatly appreciated.
