I'm not sure what do you mean by that statement - ovirt is the upstream project of red hat enterprise virtualization manager.

My target on "testing" is to understand their installation and configuration.  But finally I need to find out their practical application.

They're really in a different space.

Use oVirt if you want a virtualized datacenter. Use OpenStack if you want a
private cloud. Use virt-manager if you just want to manage a number of
virtual machines on your desktop.

I have been searching around on Internet the practical application of both oVirt and OpenStack without result.  It seems to me that they are still remaining in testing stage.
