Many places in the world have data caps or charge a lot for the amount
of data that is pushed through a connection. in which case the speed of
the transaction does not matter. what matters is limiting the amount of
data pushed through a connection. sdcards are really not ideal devices
to be running systems from. my cubietruck for instance is using a
ssdfor / as is my cubox-i. using deltarpms or not is not a arm specific
question and we are erring on the side of being conservative in the
defaults, at least as far as users bandwidth goes.
