Thanks (to you and Dennis, for both replies), it's good to hear about the anaconda work. Available RAM is probably the outstanding concern, then. I do check on installs with low RAM periodically. Last time I checked, IIRC, a DVD text install with 384MB was possible. I don't recall if a text network install with 384MB was possible. Graphical DVD install with 512MB worked (just barely); graphical network install didn't. All scenarios assume some swap space is made available at the partitioning step. (Network installs use more RAM because they have to set up repos and download repo metadata before any swap space is available). I suspect if we set a cut-off at 512MB we might be able to get away with 'installer images only' for F21. If we want to support hardware with less than 512MB (or even more less than 384MB) it's going to be very difficult, I think, but we could ask anaconda folks if there's any possibility. -- Adam Williamson Fedora QA Community Monkey IRC: adamw | Twitter: AdamW_Fedora | XMPP: adamw AT happyassassin . net http://www.happyassassin.net _______________________________________________ arm mailing list arm@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/arm
