so i poorly bumped yum and the yum in the rootfs is bad
you need 
http://arm-temp.ausil.us/pub/fedora-arm/stage3/RPMS/yum-3.2.29-0.4.fc15.hardfphack.noarch.rpm
 you will need to "rpm -Uvh --oldpackage --nodeps
yum-3.2.29-0.4.fc15.hardfphack.noarch.rpm" it
